I was feeding the tank today over my lunch break and I gave one of my hitchhiker (i think anemone, maybe a soft coral?) a piece of food that was too big for it.
A relatively large bristleworm popped out of the rock it was on and made a grab for the food.
The anemone got most of it, the bristleworm got a piece and fell off, but I can see bristles stuck in the anemone/coral.
I presume it will be ok, but wanted to be sure. The red arrows are pointing to the spines, it was hard to get a picture of them where they showed up.
And if anyone could ID either of these two hitchhikers I'd appreciate it. This other random critter showed up on the rocks. It's a very pale blue/white color, but seems to eat happily. It's moved twice now, and always locates itself someplace very shady.
