Well after losing my first Heteractis Magnifica to being very sick/not responding to cipro I finally pulled the trigger on buying a new one, I just pulled him out of my HT and into my DT tonight. The white balance is off a bit and I didn't have too much time to fool around with the camera as my lights were about to go out for the night.

it now looks neat :-) is that a sock?

Thanks everyone and yeah I'll keep the pantyhose on for now but you need to do the write up on your nem guard Jared!! :D

Expect it to stay on the rock?

No not really, if it does great but I am moving forward with my mostly anemone tank/harem of clownfish so I will be selling most of my livestock. I have a Red Sebae Anemone coming in tomorrow, no idea what it'll end up looking like but I hope it's awesome.

Still working on them lil by lil. A lot of holes to drill.

Had to send the first ordered magnets back.

The clear epoxy spray I was gonna coat the toxic magnets with isn't sealing them well enough.

Having to use something else. Another week and I should be done.

I use PlastDip and it has worked well for me. I've had them for over a year with no problems

The clear epoxy did not want to seal. I'm nearly through with them. I sprayed them with black krylon fusion. it's reef safe. I've sprayed overflows with it, plumbing, and all kind of stuff. My few SPS have never reacted nor has anything else in the tank. a friend of mine recommended it to me.

My buddy uses plastdip, but outside the aquarium. are you sure its reef safe?
