I ussually research everything I get for my 75g before I get it. But today at the LFS I ended up getting a medium sized Squamosa. My tank has been running excellently for almost 0ne year now. My lighting is 440 watts of VHO, I set the clam on the sand floor. Sand is about one inch deep where I set him. Is this alright? ALso is there a certian way for the clam to set on the sand, they seem to have a flat side, does this part go on the sand or not? I feed my tank Phyto 2xs per week is this ok?
Thanks

I love Squamosa clams, very easy to keep, non demanding clams.

Keep them on the sand floor, they will settle in nicely. Your lights and feeding sound fine.

Let's see some pics!
