Just got new large deresa

This guy is a little larger than I anticipated! I have a spot for him on the sandbed but he moved a bit and now his mantle is touching the glass (only slightly) in a couple of places.

He's fully extended, but will the mantle touching the glass be a problem?

also, his ex-current siphon is drooping (earlier it was extended).. is this normal?

no problem on the glass, but you really need to post piks now cause i wanna see this clam here!

Don't leave it against the glass for a long time because my Derasa started depositing calcium on the glass which I don't think was really bad for the clam, but it was REALLY hard to get off.

ditto on the calcium deposit- a real hassle.
