Just picked up a new Sony DSLR-A100K take a look (pic intensive)

I am pretty impressed with the auto white balance so far. The lens that came with it does a pretty good job with macro focus too. The pictures that follow are with me holding it in my hand and the camera set on auto everything except focus.

Some of the pictures have a blue haze on the edges of the coral. I assume that is from the glass not being 100% clear. After the swap tomorrow I will experiment with using a tripod and shutting off flow for a bit. I am still thinking about picking up a specific macro lens just for the camera.

Its a nice camera
I had a minolta 7D.
Minolta's lenses are hard to find used now, and the new sony prices are way to high...
I switched to Canon

Here is a pic of a frag I got from Lovereef1 that is starting to sprout some. The whole right side is new.

This is a frag from Menard that has also taken off nicely.

You are going to love a DSLR. I have the Canon Rebel XT and a couple of zoom macro lenses. The difference is unreal.

Nice shots! Glad to see the frags are settling in. Is that the pink birdsnest that you almost lost? What kinda bulbs are you runnig now?

That is the birdsnest from you too. Looking good huh? I never changed the 14k ones. Rod talked me out of it. He said everything looks too good to change them.
