Just rambling

To be clear - I'm not trying to attack you or paletta or any of the other succesful stories out there. I'm just disenfranchised with the commercialism that exists.

That's good as I don't sell Long Island Sound bacteria. It is kind of free to anyone who wants to drive there.

Sparta thank you. I am sure I posted enough that you can find my opinion on just about everything weather you agree with it or not.

Paul, As usual your granddaughter looks cute, and I don't think you could look prouder.

I keep meaning to ask you on the worm threads, but since you're rambling here I thought I would ask you here...

You feed your worms matzo that you spike with "Fish Oil". What, and where do you get "fish oil"? When I think of fish oil all I can think of is smelly vitamin capsules and squeaking fish..

I think I got it in a regular drug store. I got a big bottle of it but for years I used those smelly vitamin capsules. I would stick a pin in it and squeeze, but it would squirt in my eyes, on my shirt, on the wall etc. The bottle is better. I have been feeding the worms Cheerios lately since I ran out of Matzo's. They don't seem to care what they eat, but they eat a lot.

Hmm, maybe you haven't thought this thing through!

I'm thinking $17.99 (plus shipping of course) for a six ounce bottle of PaulB's very own Long Island Bacterial Blend?

You can thank me later. :wavehand:

I am amazed at what people buy for there tanks.

I don't want to sell the secret mud. I like having the oldest tank here
I got some today, don't tell anyone

i won't tell but you hafta add on tree fiddy to the money you are paying me to not tell your wife that you have a **gasp** tank!

I am going out today to get more "Secret Mud". Amphipod hunting has slowed down as amphipod season is almost over. I can still get them, but not millions like last month. I can get thousands of 1/4" horseshoe crabs, but not much market for them unless I color them green and red and eat them like M&Ms. I would imagine they don't taste to good, but would supply plenty of fiber.
I have also been seeing hermit crabs in "my" tidepool which I am happy about as I have not seen any there in a few years. I don't collect them as we have an agreement and they are friends of mine. I also don't take any of the hoards or fiddler crabs, but I do like hanging out with them and watching them stand near their burrows waving at their neighbors or trying to attract females. A few years ago I did that, I stood at my door, moving my arm up and down, but all I attracted was the mail girl, and she wasn't impressed. I could tell by the can of mace she showed me.

well, now that i know who you really are, next Christmas i would like warm coats for my pot bellied pigs. they will all need size L. thanks, santa!!

Nowhere local sells them live and I don't have room for a five lb bag sooooo, freeze dried it is! LOL I will be rehydrating before feeding, not that that will add nutrients but the texture will be better I guess.
