Just something I was thinking about....

Was it weird that my carpet lookd more inflated and happier at night wen the lights were off? I've had my carpet in for about two weeks now and it looks great even w the lights on. Did that mean anything?

Hmm great knowledge for future anemones. I'm thinking bout putting a crisps in the tank since I'm adding a sump phosban reactor and a Corbin reactor not to mention I'm upgrading the skimmer

Its up to you but personally i dont mix different species of anemones anymore. Post pics of the carpet. I remember seeing it when you first got it, lets see how its coming along.

I think you should let your current anemone settle in before you even think about adding another large sand dwelling anemone -- which I think is a very bad idea.

Even though it has been two weeks, I think that you should still put some layers (( 2 )) of window screening b/t your tank and your lights -- remove a layer every 5-7 days.

Adding a phosban and carbon reactors doesn't automatically make your tank ready for another anemone, when the your current one is stressed.

k ill let it set, adding another nem is doubtful but just a thought. i dnt think its stressed anymore now its stick to the touch again and is retaining its food

as promised..

It looks good in the pic. So does the elegance, BTW. Just don't let your guard down. When I have a new anemone, I don't start to relax for 6 months or more. It can take a long time for an anemone to adapt to captivity.

Personally I am a big proponent of weekly water changes.

I do 5 gallons, weekly, on all 3 of my tanks ((33, 58, & 75))
