Just want to share New Pair

Hey WALV what kind of clown are in your advatar ?

The PNG "Lightning Marroon" is a naturally occuring phenomenon. Matt is breeding it in what I feel is the "right" way. Which is to breed it with another marroon from PNG.

What I don't like is when people cross breed fishes that have no business being together for reasons of geographical separation. There's a myriad of naturally occuring hybrids out there. I'm working with my personal favorite as we speak.

I was saying like ocellaris but it has become about on par with a skunk complex.

Just wated to Give an Update the pair of Percs are doing great eating well and never do they leave the Host Nem . Will take some more Pictures later

Ok Here are a few Pictures I just Took

What Makes You Think tarving ?

When their tentacles start to get shorter, and they have wizened tips at the end. If they don't get enough energy via their zooxanthellae or supplemental feeding they will continue to consume their own body tissues until there is nothing left but nubs where tentacles used to be.

Your anemone is not bleached, but it IS very light. It is not under very bright lighting so it does not have a lot of zooxanthellae (which would give it a darker color). If you up the feeding schedule, you will probably be ok. If the light was bright enough you wouldn't need to feed it as frequently - if at all.

Ok i will up the Feeding maybe 2 times a week what do you think ? also i really thought 6 x 54 wat would be enough . Also i think the picturs i take tend to make the nem look light in color

I would love to own a pair some day

I'm working on it. I should have my second pair formed by June. If they spawn, there will be an order to their distribution. Breeder friends first, followed by people who already have one and need a mate then everybody else.
I want to maximize the captive breeding of the species. The first few are going to be very expensive because I expect a low success rate, high culling and a lot of work. That said, I would like to get them down around $100/pair or less.
