juvenile allardi

I saw this juvenile allardi, which I thought was a clarkii. The LFS said it was an allardi and he wants it for 25. Just want to make sure that it's an allardi before I fork over that much. I don't want to end up with a 25 dallor clarkii.

It's a little over an inch and the body is closer to yellow than orange. It has two strips down it's body and theres a little white strip between tthe body and the tail.

Any ideas?

Pics would really help, I know it saved me $150 when someone said they had a seychelles clown and they were clarki.

ask the lfs if you can take a photo, if they say no leave and never go back and tell them why.

does a allardi start out with no black? this guy doesn't have any black.

I believe all the juveniles do start out with black.
