k guys... so I went to pick up my blue lines, here's the video @ the fish store before picking

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OxBCnbbKWo&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

I put both in a salt bucket and dripped them for 2-3 hours with air stone too

they started to fight, so I sept it with a egg crate, and then off the light in my main display, put news papers on the front glass (to cover light from entering) and put both fish

One seems good, but other ones looks bad, like it even came up to the over flow and I thought it was going to jump, b/c it jumped at the store too :(

anyways, the lights are off and I will see how it is 2moro

thx guys

hey all... I checked my blue lines out, both are alive :P, at each end of the tank, but my flame back was chasing one of them

they are also eating too I believe
I have the lights off again, I am going to go to home depot 2moro and big 2 egg crate to cover the tank for some time, I am scared it may jump out, b/c in the store in jumped

Three new pics from today...sorry they're all from the same side....it wasnt cooperating. But these are the best ones I've taken of the fish....

hey guys

just came across this thread. To all of you who are having success with blue lines, can you please tell me what you do? I just purchased a 2.5-3 inch one. Would like to hear your experiences.

I got one from nyaquatics a few weeks ago and it eats everything. Just feed a wide variety of foods and you should be good. I wasn't sure how much I liked these fish until I got one. Now it is one of my favorite fish.

Pics of mine from last month.... please excuse the crap on the glass and the bubbles in the water....

The fish is now almost 2.5 inches in length and eats well...wont touch brocolli, but will destroy Nori on the clip, shrimp, and scallop...

I out mine in QT for about 45 days or so (IIRC) and ensured it was eating well, before I moved it to the tank its in now....

I've got mine eating mostly mysis and whatever algae he finds on the live rock. Really not
Going for pellets. They just sink to bottom and mess uP my water quality. Are flake foods a good food? Haven't tried those yet..... He will not touch cyclopeeze but he will eat arctipods from reef nutrition... Are any of these foods good?

Mine doesnt eat pellets, but pellets and flake food are high in phosphates so they are food I rarely if ever feed anyway...

The best listing of healthy food and ways to properly feed and acclimate fish I've ever seen is over at www.reeffrontiers.com

Check out Lee's forum on fish....TONS of information threre...you will need to sign up to read it, but its like here...free sign up.

As reef safe as any non Genicanthus angel will ever be.....

Meaning...maybe.

My Regal wasnt interested in clams or Zoas for 3 years....then one day out of the blue began munching both like they were candy....I no longer keep Zoas or clams in the tank with her. So far, my Blueline hasnt munched on anything other than nori, scallop, and shrimp....that could all change tomorrow and it might go on a zoa, LPS binge...

That's part of the allure of angels, the personality comes with a price...

Nick

Blueline angelfish that is changing coming up on divers den. Tempted to purchase it if the price is right.

Have any of your fish bothered clams or corals?
