Juvi Clowns in an established tank

Was going to get some designer clowns today to replace my current pair but they were still pretty small, juvi sized (3/4in) so I ended up not getting them. Should I still go and replace them? Current fish in my tank are a 6 line, damsel, goby, jawfish, and 2 ocellaris. Would the juvi clowns hold their own or should I just hold off still

Do you mean add two more clowns to your tank or remove the two you have and replace them with two different ones?

I would be wary of adding similarly sized juvis. Although they may be fine for a while, as they begin to sexually mature, they may turn on each other and the closely matched sizes will make it difficult for them to work out dominance. I always recommend adding clowns with significant size disparity.

Should be no problem replacing clowns w/ 2 juvies (but only 1 pair per tank). Over the years I've added same sized juvies 3 or 4 times w/o any trouble; but I can understand the caution some are saying about differing sizes--guess I just had good luck.

btw, profile says you have a nano tank--what size is it? You might be overstocked w/ 6 fish...& that 6 line, damsel are pretty aggressive for a small tank.

Thanks for the response, and its a 29g but theres lots of space the way the rocks are set up. Everyone is pretty peaceful believe it or not but if anything I could get rid of the chromis, had him in there since I started it up lol.
