Did the parents come from my pair? Someone said that they did, but if I had to guess, I would say that they did not . They are a very nice looking pair

I have heard of 3-4 spawning events that would make my pair grandparents.

it was my mistake. they are not from your stock. i thought you were referring to another pair. i think your babies have black in the shoulder region at that age already.

They are a wc pair from LA. I can only hope at this point that they will develop alot of black, ive seen some bredders whose onyx are not breeding true. only time will tell.

This is what I have also heard. I know that Marina had some good spawns (or atleast 1), but havent heard much of them lately. Id like to hear how hers are coloring up.

They are starting to turn black. Its a little hard to tell from the pics.

I see the black... its pretty obvious on the top one in the last pic! you can see a little half circle around the bottom of the top dorsal too thats orange & the rest looks greyish
