Kalk bathing pesty GSP?

I read a little about this here on RC. How do you do it? I mixed up some Kalkwasser and filled my syringe with cloudly kalk water then shot it all over my unwanted GSP. I let it sit for a few minutes before turning the circulation back on, the GSP remains! Does it take time, multiple does, etc? What is the proper way to do this? Thanks.

I have blasted GSP with sodium hydroxide (lye) and had them unphased. Nasty stuff to get rid of.
