Kalk & Osmolator pump

I am going to start mixing limewater in the sump I use for top-off water to aid in keeping my ca/alk high. Will the pump currently used in my osmolator work or will the lime kill it? If it will not work, can you suggest an alternative?

It will slowly kill the pump and it would not be warranty. The pump is cheap - $19. If you don't let it rest in a slurry and use a weaker kalk I would expect 9months or so from the pump. Their really is no alternative except using the Calcium Dispenser or another brand of kalkreactor.
