Kalk Reactor and saltwater

This might be a silly question but I need clarification on mixing Kalkwasser in a reactor. I used to have a DIY Kalk reactor that I used freshwater to mix with. I planned on making another one and using saltwater from the sump to mix it. Will this work and will it have the same reslts as mixing with freshwater?

I am not planning to use freshwater to mix with Kalk. Will saltwater work? That's the question.

No, you cannot do that. The calcium hydroxide precipitates out in the salt water , the reactor would be a snow storm.
