Kalk reactors for swap

Anyone interested in buying a kalk reactor? I made several for the LMAS swap, and several didn't sell.

They are made of 1/8" wall extruded acrlyic, 2' tall reactor body. Each has a new Maxijet 400 for mixing...

I can post photos if anyone is interested. I would probably sell at cost just to get them out of the basement, $30 or so.

I've already committed to one or I'd be joining you guys in purchasing one BUT, I did find what seems to be the perfect timer for a kalk reactor. And you can get it at ReefGeek!

Up to 14 times a day it will turn on for a minimum of one minute... perfect! I'm getting one for my will be new kalk reactor so I don't have to waste a space on my Aquatronica.

Just thought I'd share. Not only do I want to hit 9%, but it really is the perfect timer.

Wow, I didn't expect that many responses.....but I only have two ready now, of the same measurements as listed above.

If I can find the correct O Ring, I can have another shorter, but larger diameter reactor ready this week. 3.75" diamter, 14 or 16 inches tall.

I would like one for sure if I am in order to get one based on responses earlier. I am going to be at the swap next weekend if you want to sell it to me then or I can paypal now so you know I am serious, either way. IF I am in line for one that is.

I can make more if people are interested....and I can change the design some what as well. I probably wouldn't be able to build any before the frag swap though, it takes about eight hours for me to build one.

Thanks crumbletop Every peice was made by hand......two power tools were used, an electric drill, and a saw, everything else is done by hand.

Those do look nice! Where do you get your acrylic?

Jack... yours is not to be overlooked, either. I was going to build one like yours until I found a used one.

The acrylic tube comes from a shop in Louisville, and the flat peices for the base and two flanges come from Lowes or Home Depot.

Jack - that is a pretty cool idea! nice work yourself!

I forgot to mention - I'll have these at the LMAS table.

I'll also bring a couple bags of pure calcium (for making two part), and maybe a couple frags.....some wagon wheel type green mushrooms, and some nice zoos that have chocolate brown skirts, with mint green centers.
