Kalkwasser question

I read that Kalkwasser will precipitate out phosphates. It this true or BS? And, If my calcium levels are consistently ~500 is kalk dosing not a good idea to do?

Lime might be able to precipitate phosphate under some circumstances.

You should wait for the calcium to drop to 450 or lower until you start dosing any calcium supplement. Do watch the alkalinity in the mean time!
