Looks awesome! That sucks that the sump was broken

Lol well If shes bugging you right now then later yull wish u got the 100 haha...just do it right the first time and I say go with the 100 !The 70 gallon has the dimensions ive been looking at for a while. But recently I came across a 48 x 24 x 18 tall, and i really liked it.. I dont think I can go wrong with either tank. I might just be able to get a small tang if i got the bigger one, The girlfriend is bugging me about a tang lol.
Yea tell me about it...well anyways so I got a new bigger and better one lol. Its 32x16x10. Its got 4 chambersLooks awesome! That sucks that the sump was broken![]()
Oh thanks lol I was beginning to think not may people were interested in my build cause nobodies really saying much or asking many questions? Yea the skimmer is nice. Well the overflow is nicely made also with perfect seams and also comes with a cover. Theres 2 holes on the bottom. 1 inch drain and 3/4 for return. Underneath though ive converted the 3/4 to 1 inch also so ill have all 1 inch plumbing underneath the tank as you can see by the picture I posted above. The return is one loc line but Iam converting mine into 2. Hope that helpsIm following along. I have the same skimmer on my reef. I think you will be very happy. Also, I'm looking at getting a custom rimless from cadlights. How do you like the overflow? How many holes and what size? Thanks.
Thanks Ill try to post as many as I canI Really Enjoyed Your Pics.
and I'm Expecting What's going on!!!![]()
Iam not sure to be honest. I work alot so its taking some time but Ill keep posting the progress for you guysHow long before you see water?

Im lovin the quality parts going into this build. Then you are making your bedroom around a reef tank! Sweet, wish I could handle the noise of one in mine but alas I am a light sleeper dang it...keep the updates coming, I for one am following along. DOnt get discouraged that you arent getting a lot of chatter. It happens on here, people look but dont talk since there isnt much to say when youre just assembling custom made stuff. Once you get water in, youll get lots of questions and comments!
So what are your plans for this tank?
Well how much room do you have? Maybe go with the 50 cube?Hello Kami, great build so far. I'm on the fence about ordering the same tank since I don't have the room for a 4 ft. tank. Going to be watching your build for a month before I decide to take the plunge!
Well how much room do you have? Maybe go with the 50 cube?
Measured the space I want the tank and comes to about 3 1/2 feet length safely (4ft will fit but too close to the door for comfort!) with enough space for the 2 ft. width. I would've preferred the 100 gallon version but both cost and space will end up being an issue. Shooting for the 70 gallon when tax refund hits, maybe go with 6 bulb t-5 fixture from either ATI or aqualife, not sure yet.
How are the mp40s? Would it be possible to use 2 MP10s? I plan to keep SPS and a few select LPS.
Oh ok cool....well for comparison ATI is more like a CEO and Aquaticlife the employee lol so you can imagine the difference. I wanted the bestWell then again I dont know what your budget maybe.
But you know what if you get the ATI's youll have to hang them versus some of the other ones that have legs like aquatic lifes for example.I have to admit hanging them was a choir but after its all said and done it was totally worth it. Yea my 2 MP40 may be overkill on this tank lol so you can def get away with 2 mp10's. I just rather have more than enough power than be short handed. I will say this though I do have a crazy insane amount of control over my flow though.
