KaMi 's SpS StarFire Aquarium

Well my budget isn't too bad atm so I could go ATI. I would have to get something to hang them by because the ceiling isn't an option. I know ATI has a good reputation but is there any technical reason that they are better then Aquaticlife? The difference in price between the two isn't THAT much if you get it right the first time.
Theres alot of difference.
1. build quality plastic vs metal body
2. reflectors one piece vs high quality individual reflectors for each bulb
3. bulbs. ATI bulbs are one of the best out there high intense and bright

Iam sure theres more but you get the picture. Its like do you wanna Mercedez or a Honda?

Yea, I see your point. How did you hang them? I've seen people with hanging trees (think that is what they're called?) that they use to hang the lights by if they can't use the ceiling. I guess I'll have to look into that.

Yea some people use the hanging tree method but Iam going to be hanging from ceiling for a more cleaner look using the hanging kit that comes with it.And if you do want to do the tree I believe the metal rods are called conduit that yull have to bend. Just search on here and theres tons of instructions on how to put one together and its not too difficult either

Im pretty sure hondas are an overstatement. Maybe a kia. Individual reflectors are mandatory imo. Anything less just wont work for sps.

Glad to see you are getting closer to water. Keep at it.

And then there was water:)
The tank comes with 1 return nozzle but I turned it into 2 to get better flow back into the tank

Allright guys iam exhaused as hell but when I stand back and take a look at my hard work I Iam full filled and satisfied taking a look at what I've accomplished. I have to admit it wasnt easy trying to balance the room and the aquarium at the same time. Its hard as is planning an aquarium from top to bottom letting alone having to work on an entire room. Ok so I wont make you guys wait any longer....heres some befores and afters...hope you guys like it :)

Sweet looking setup, looking forward to watching how this progresses! I'm looking at doing something similar but dual-Radion powered, and most likely cubed (30x30x18) instead of rectangle :)
