Sometimes it just takes a little time for things to settle in and they'll go away. You could also try making one of these...

With all of those baffles in your sump I'm surprised you're having a problem with microbubbles. You're positive there's no air leaks in your return line?

Yea I had tried this also..how these bubbles are getting into the display is beyond me....I did inspect the plumbing too...I have no water leaking anywhere ...but since adding the sock there almost gone. Maybe I think Iam just overthinking it and I should just give the system some time to settle perhaps.since I have it where I like it now ill just leave everything alone now

glad to hear the bubbles are dissipating. when i got my new swc skimmer it was putting out serious micro bubbles for the first 48 hours, then nothing. real easy to overthink things in this hobby.

i was reading a thread on reefcentral of someone who bought the 100g cadlights and they have bubbles in the plastic black film on the back. Did you notice bubbles in that? Or did you remove it and spraypaint black? I'm having the urge to order their 100g and wanted to see if i should ask them not to put that film on the back and just paint with krylon paint instead.

Well mines still on however there was one bubble but can't really notice it unless you look really close. Id recommend ordering without the backing if possible and just do a better job yourself

Nice job remodeling and setting up your tank! I ordered the 70 gallon Artisan series also about 9 days ago but feels like eternity! It was supposed to ship already but I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation. I'm going to give Eddie a call on Monday when the open.

I ordered everything that came with series except for the light. I'll be using a 250W metal halide/t5 fixture for mine that I already have. I did order the white stand. The brown stand wouldn't match the furniture. I may end up changing the return pump to a reef octopus water blaster as they have very little heat exchange since it is very low wattage.

I hope I don't have any problems with the backing or with the bulkheads. So far from reading the threads, those are the cheif complaints of many. They are hard to get a hold of also.

Keep the updates coming!

Awesome so whats the status on your tank now. It has a real clean look to it that ull like. Well your gonna have to be really carefull with white. Thats why i ended up getting the dark brown which looks black in my room. I didnt have any problems with anythings being delivered that came broken except for the sump which they happily replaced. They do often send out the wrong things. They will eventually fix the order but its pretty time consuming. Other than that thier products are great and also they are nice people.

UPDATE: Well currently I have the tank with a whole bunch live rock in it so it could start things faster. Eventually maybe in a couple of months itll be to the point where I can remove some and start aquascaping it the way I like it. Ive got green algea growing everywhere even on the sandbed. My clean up crew should be getting here tomarrow. My order consists of the fallowing :

1 turbo snail
3 astrea snails
17 nassarius snails
3 super tonga nasarius snails
7 red reef scarlet hermit crabs
3 blue legged hermits
1 blue knuckle hermit
3 emerald crabs
1 fancy sea urchin
1 lawnmower blenny

I may add more later if needed but this is it for now

Ive never had algea growing so much on the sandbed in any of my tanks. Iam not sure if its the strong lighing or what? If someone has any idea why there might be so much please let me know.

Chics will love it as well! Great Job!
Yup this place is definitely lookin like the LUV LOUNGE lol :bounce1:
Looking good, love how you did rocks.
THanks! but its not like that anymore..its half full with live rock for now untill I establish the biological filtration a bit more

nice tank!!!
Thanks so much. It truly is a piece of art...I really wish I had a better camera so I could take better pics for you guys...because these pictures really do not do it justice

It's arriving on Monday th 26th sometime after 4pm! I already spoke with Fedex to arrange delivery. They told me that I'm going to need help since all they will do is hand down the items from the truck. I can't wait! I started a little thread about my experience with them and to find out how other people's experiences are with them. So far I am pleased.

Here it is:http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2145246

My tank arrived! Thank God nothing was broken! I put together the stand last night. I am a little nervous about putting the tank on it. I can move the front end of the stand side to side a little since it's open. Did you add any bracing to your stand? Did you place anything underneath your stand or place it directly on the carpet?

I didn't receive one thing though. I had them make a glass cover for my tank and the clips to hold it on the tank were missing. I gave Eddie a call and they said they ordered them but haven't received them yet. I will call him later in the week and they will send them to me.

Yeah!

Lol somehow they allways forget to leave something out...but yull get it in due time. I have a clear mat underneath my stand the kind they use in offices you can find in any office supply stores. They work well for easy cleanup and protect the carpet. My stand doesnt really move. Make sure all the screws are all tight as possible
