I use two kinds of bulbs - I use a double ended HQI 400W 14K Hamilton bulb in the center and then for either side I use a single ended 400W 15K XM bulb.

Feeding is the key, IMO. I use Phytoplex, Cyclopes, Reef roid, Reef chilli. I also use Restor and Selcon (amino acids and lipids) as soaks for the food. I also have a number of fish (both algae and meat eaters) that I feed mysis, flake food, sinking pellets, and nori,

No. Just a 3" sand floor. I think DSB is 4" and up.

These are MH only... So no blue pop. So it looks more yellow than it is.

Acro sticking over water level when there are waves and it's at a wave trough. Not sure if I should relocate the whole head or just the tip that's over the water.

It's still alive... Polyps out at night.

Looks like he's recovering nicely. First pic is April 27 2015. Last is today Jan 23 2016. Nice months of gradual improvement.

Ok. So I've been so happy with the growth that I didn't expect the corals going aggressive. I see plenty of SPS tanks on here with closer growth. What's the trick?

Why are these fighting and what's the next group I should watch out for?

I posted another thread on it, but I think the SPS experts would know more?
