im using... i believe a 175watt MH 15k bulb..
It really is a dual ballast with dual retro MH's but i just hooked up one. (this will be great for future projects IN MY OWN HOME) :)

thanks MADtanks

oh and im also thinking of getting 5 blue/green chromis.. i started out with 5 in this hobby but am left with two.. you know how chromis can be

thats cool man, once the corals are acclimated i would move up the rack or make a step up type rack so you can keep softies on the first rack at the bottom then do a mid rack for LPS and low light SPS and then do a top rack for light hogging SPS.

yea i love chromis man but i hate their cannibalism! hahah i use to have about 8 Vanderbilt(one of the most expensive chromis but beaut!) and i ended up with 3 :( about 75 dollars down the shooter!

good luck.

I did actually make a 2 story frag rack.. unfortanetly i didnt have any damn glue so it all fell apart and floated around in the tank... so i just put one down for now... once i do some stuff with the frags i have now i'm going to make a new rack.

Thanks alot dude

why not make it all out of egg crate, just use zipties to stack em :) thats what i did and works like a charm :)

No prob man, :)

im gonna glue them down for more stability.. had a cool idea to that would have gave the most surface area for frags, but im not gonna be having that many frags..

i have more then i normally will right now

I love cubes. What is the gallon size of that cube? Mine I think has the same dimensions (Oceanic 37)

Not sure if this has already been asked but whatare your plans for the Imperator down the road? I know some people have had limited success mixed with reefs. I've been debating unloading mine from my FOWLR just because he just turned colors and is getting really nasty towards the other inhabitants.

tank pics are nice.

my cube is i think 39 gallons or something I was told.

Umm as for the imperator angel.. he has been good for the whole time that i've had him.. up until i put all my frags in the tank, i started noticing him nipping at them, which got me to quickly put them in the frag tank...

I'm not sure what i'll do with him yet... depending on how he does as he matures i'll either keep him in the tank (if he doenst eat the corals) or sell him (if he actually DOES eat the corals)... he's a beauty though

well tried to fix one of the bulbs that has been out for months.. nothing worked.. its the fixture itself.. gonna bring it to the factory tomorrow

UPDATES:
-Fixture is Fix and looking great
-Fish order just came in, most of which is for my frag tank

Fish order
-Small Yellow Tang (For Frag Tank)
-Diamond Watchman Goby (For Frag Tank)
-Cerith Snails (For Frag Tank
-Purple/Pink Tip Haitian Anemone (For Main Tank.. This was FREE)

Well the Diamond Watchman Goby is significantly different in appearance than the one I already have.. I have to say that the one I already have is definitely cooler looking lol, but what are ya gonna do.

Oh and I'm PROBABLY gonna be getting rid of my Emperor Angel :(... He's gotten into the habit in which I was HOPING he wouldnt... Starting to nip at the corals :(

Well I've decided to trash the whole "Frag tank idea"... It honestly is just too much for me to handle especially with school. I put all the corals into this "cage" sort of thing I built whereas my damn angel is starting to nip at frags... I need to get rid of the angel but it is impossible to catch!!!

Well I tossed the fish from the frag tank into the main tank... The diamond watchman gobies are getting along very well... the small yellow tang however is getting bullied by my Atlantic blue tang and my damsel... I wish i didnt inherit that darn damsel!!! lol
