well tried to fix one of the bulbs that has been out for months.. nothing worked.. its the fixture itself.. gonna bring it to the factory tomorrow

-Fish order just came in, most of which is for my frag tank

Fish order
-Small Yellow Tang (For Frag Tank)
-Diamond Watchman Goby (For Frag Tank)
-Cerith Snails (For Frag Tank
-Purple/Pink Tip Haitian Anemone (For Main Tank.. This was FREE)

Well the Diamond Watchman Goby is significantly different in appearance than the one I already have.. I have to say that the one I already have is definitely cooler looking lol, but what are ya gonna do.

Oh and I'm PROBABLY gonna be getting rid of my Emperor Angel ... He's gotten into the habit in which I was HOPING he wouldnt... Starting to nip at the corals

Well I've decided to trash the whole "Frag tank idea"... It honestly is just too much for me to handle especially with school. I put all the corals into this "cage" sort of thing I built whereas my damn angel is starting to nip at frags... I need to get rid of the angel but it is impossible to catch!!!

Is there a way you can tie it into your current system. That way when you perform maintenance or test the water, you are really only performing it on one water source.

I'm about to help a guy tie his frag tank into his current system. The tentative plan is to pump water out of the sump via a submersible pump, then plumb the overflow drains on the frag tank back into the sump.

Well i was thinking about doing that... and i really wanted to. UNFORTUNATELY, I am a freshman in college and living with my parents lol.. I guess you know where this is going.

Well I tossed the fish from the frag tank into the main tank... The diamond watchman gobies are getting along very well... the small yellow tang however is getting bullied by my Atlantic blue tang and my damsel... I wish i didnt inherit that darn damsel!!! lol

lol Idk bout that.. I was thinking about upgrading to the new magnum ones... but I dont think it's worth it. I've got nice amount of flow.

well i took out of the frags and have them in a cage right now in the display.. The frag tank wasnt doing too good so i had to shut it down. (too much work while going to college).... I also need to get rid of my ANGELFISH!! my favorite fish.. i know... and he is impossible to catch... i'm going to have to make some type of a trap. He's been nipping at my corals which is why i had to cage them in.. I'll take a picture to show you what i did

Here's how it went down...

I placed a big vase in there with a zoa frag.. i also had a big net in the tank near it so i can quickly cover the vase when/if i saw him in it. Although I dont have pictures of the actual catching, here are some of what I did.

I'm thinking about redoing my aquascape ... AGAIN lol... I think i like the idea of having to islands (one on the left, one on the right)... what do you think?

I'm a big fan of the island/pillar look. You could probably do 3 nice size ones in a tank that size... possibly stagger them a little to make the tank look deeper also.

well i dont really mean pillars... let me see if i can describe it better.

basicall to (somewhat) circle islands of rocks..
let me try to find a sample picture.
