Kdoc's 210g Reef Tank

one of the 5 chromis has been hiding behind the live rock for a while, leaving this "school". Any reason as to why he would do that (the damsel has been a little aggressive with them, but why would just 1 leave from the group).

Aww man.. 1 Dead chromis :( small small one... didnt think he could handle the damsel... taking the damsel out this weekend most likely.. and that chromis that was hiding behind the rock is missing... not too good... the only ones that seem to be good are the larger ones... Maybe next time i should get some of the bigger chromis rather than some small.

I'm just wondering how a highschool kid can afford a better setup then mine!!!! lol.

I'm 16 lol and I work a part-time job, my tank is of course nothing to brag about, but even though I only work part-time at a grocery store, I get a good amount of money to be spending on just my tank and don't have to worry about paying for other things that an adult would have.

I'm having a hard time upgrading mine right now. Then again, I only have a 29, but no part time job.

The challenge of being in high school and having a reef tank would be taking it off to university and moving it around.

Then again, if you have a part time job, it is pretty easy to take care of a tank because at minimum wage, a days work is about 20lbs of rock. After a while it can add up until you can afford your own setup.

Who needs a car eh?

Last but not least a FTS.. You can see the difference in the back of the tank and the sand, with how much algae is gone.
