looking for some advice...
i bought a long tentacle that grew like crazy in my aquapod (literally filled up the entire tank). i am setting up a new tank (190 gal hex) which is quite tall (36") and about 43" in diameter. The tank is mostly fowlr, but i'm going to move the corals and shrooms in my pod to the top of the rocks in the new tank. how do you think an anemone would do? there will be a 250w mh, but it will not be super bright at the bottom of the tank so I was thinking of putting it in the rocks. how do you think it would do?

do you think the fish will be an issue with it (I have a humu humu trigger, maroon clown, blue tang, flagfin angel, and will probably get a couple of puffers and an emperator angel)?

If the Clown is introduced after the anemone then it should be fine the tang should be fine aswell. I wouldnt risk it with the others though

I've had them with certain angels and tangs with no trouble...lemonpeel, coral beauty, kole tang.

Emperors and puffers (such as dogface puffers) are known to eat anemones, not to mention they grow big and produce a lot of waste. Emperors are difficult to acclimate to captivity.

IMHO, tall tanks (over 24") are difficult to manage, both in terms of clean-up (try scraping green algae from the lower part of the front glass) and light penetration.
