No one has chimed in to say that it's not possible, just that it's a bad idea, mostly based on what have been suggested before them. Not too many with personal experience. Sure I take all that into account, but I also learn to absorb the information and see how it would work with my tank setup.
For example if someeone asked if an achilles tang can be house together with a powder blue tang for long term, most would reply no. If everyone took that advice, you would never see a tank with these two in there. There is something to be learned with people's experiences but adapting it to make it fit your setup is all that matters in the end. I can say I am a proud owner of both of these tangs in my setup for almost 9 months. I take reef keeping advices as a grain of salt. There are more than one way to keep things alive and it doesn't have to always be by the books.
