My thinking exactly. I just read Kents explanation of the thing in the DIY. It is an awesome rig. Proof that if you take your time you can make something better than can be purchased for that amount of money. Great skimmer but I dont think I can justify the purchase to the fiance when I would be using the honeymoon money. Plus it holds more water than the nano maybe and the 70gal frag tank dosent need it.

I was going to upgrade my tank size. Well I have hurt my back and been off work for 3 weeks. My MD says fined a new area to working or your back will totally shot in just a few years. I am trying to go back to school and get a masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner so I will not have to pull the patients around. That said, I will not be upgrading the tank. I pulled the trigger to fast.

No way I can work that one out right now. If it would be available right when I get an attorney check for a PI case settling, I could probably swing it but I don't think any are due to settle for a few months.

If you really want it, I bet we could find a way to funnel the funds my way over the next month or two. We could use the postal system. She would never suspect that. I will make another trip to deliver when paid for and stop by GWA and spend some of the cash.

I took it down last night for a final cleaning so it will sparkle like new. So these are about two weeks old.

Here it is the night I got it. I took this photo as a JK. My friends wife asked if I had lost my mind. She could not believe my wife would allow that to sit there in our livingroom!! LOL

Hoggin up my small sump room.

24HRs if wet skimmate in my reef only system (about a quart). My EV-180 was not pulling much of anything just prior to this. The cup is 12 inchs in diameter.

You bet, thanks for the invite. I will be with a friend who is buying Kent's sump so it is ultimatly up to him but I will do my best. We will be going by there at some time for sure.
