Kenya Tree Recovery

About two or three days ago i had to rip off my kenya tree from my LR because i placed it in a bad spot and it started getting stung by other corals. i put it in a tupperware container with some LR rubble but it doesn't really seem to be alive anymore. it hasnt attached to anything yet and is still all shriveled up. the root is starting to turn brown now. will it recover?

it stays shriveled up all day, thats what i mean by it not seeming to be alive. maybe a i removed it wrong but i read somewhere that you just have to pull them or cut them off at the base. ill upload pictures tomorrow when the light is back on.

Hey on the off chance that it doesn't make it and your located somewhere near me I could cut you a large branch and I mean large approx 6-9inches

just cut off one of its braches and put it in an area with light but low flow. My kenya drops little branches all over the tank and they just grow wherever they drop. Could be something else continually bothering it in your tank.

just to update the thread, the kenya that i cut off is doing fine besides the fact that it decided to attach itself all crooked. i now have a small sproutling that is growing where i tried to remove it. this coral is more of a nuisance if you let it be

Wow, you like your Kenya trees.
Mine are budding all over the place and I'm giving them away for free just to keep it under control.

OP, just put yours under decent light and wait.
