I'm going to switch from t5 to led soon and debating if running the a150w will be able to support rbta. I know they just came out with the 350 but hanging is not a option. Do any of you have experience with these lights and keeping anemones happy?

Thanks

i think it should be fine, i know they are powerful so i would be careful with it being to bright. i kept a gbta under PC lights for over a year and it split 3 times and got big.

Added 2 ocean blues and 2 deep ocean plues last friday.

Lots of light over a 40 breeder. Why not just wait for 350w and triple the output for half the price?

I have the kessil a150w ocean blue, a pair over a 75 reef tank and want a gbta or red bubble tip. Live aquaria quotes all the bubble tips under a 250 watt mh.

That is just what LA takes the pictures under, they will do fine under many other types of lighting, from PC to T5 to LED.

I really like the kessil a150w ocean blue color. A deeper water blue and looks great. Only two weeks of transition from t5. T5 can grow corals, but so sterile bright and can not focus light. Sets the aquarium as a real show piece, even wife likes aquarium now. Go figure.

Getting bubble tip and thinking of another kessil 150 to spot light anemone and hope to keep its roaming down. Or I could get 350 w and sell one kessil?
