Depends what you need. a150 has no easy automation potential..
Slightly weaker than the new 160..
37W vs 40W for the automat-ible A160..
$145 vs $239...
Oh and which "color"??
and what do you plan on putting it over??

I would pass. 160 is a far better light. I have both and my 150s are in a bin somewhere.

I wouldn't mind one for a fuge light. Maybe for a frag tank. Something where you are ok with just on/off timing and don't want to do ramping. You can just set it and forget it.
