Did you send an initial email requesting to be part of the beta?
Well if you want in just send an email to kessil@kessil.com and tell them you want to be part of beta with the new phone and pc app.

i understand that but does he have it set on the middle of light blue an the circle spills over on each side or on one side
Would you mind just posting the APK file on Dropbox or something so we can all download it?
Well for one there is a new windows and mac app to setup and control the lights. Not sure what the android app changes are since I am still waiting on the link from the google play store to download from kessil.
Nothing here as well.
According to the version on my phone and tablet, they all show as being BETA. However they are the versions that have publically released and are different versions. The 'new' BETA that they are referring to is supposed to be newer software and supposedly applies to phone and tablet.

* If you do both updates, we recommend using the Backup feature of the new beta app to save your programs, then update the AP700 firmware, so that you can Restore the programs afterwards.
iPhone App v3.3 Beta Update
Here is a list of new features and some known issues that are being worked on. Please let us know if you run into anything else or have device compatibility issues when downloading the app.
New Features on Phone Apps
* Enable social media logins to Backup and Restore your programs and fixture data when you are connected to the internet
* Improved connection for Wireless Router - it is now compatible with more security and encryption modes
* Estimated color and intensity percentage can be viewed on the Main page
* Even dimmer blue moonlight
An email with detailed instructions will be sent from TestFlight (Apple's official*Beta-testing*app) to your iTunes email address within 24 hours and you can start using the*Kessil*WiFi Controller - Phone*App (Beta). This is an update of the App, so you do not need to delete your current phone app.
Please keep in mind, this version is only a*beta*and whenever there is an update you may lose all*program*and setup data.

Firmware v3.3.0 Beta Update - Windows & MacOS
New Features on Firmware v3.3.0
- Improved programming to increase stability and accuracy
- More accurate turn on and turn off time
- Smoother color transition
- Added "Auto Refresh" feature - Once locked, light will refresh itself to the current program in 2 minutes even after touching the manual buttons (with exception of the Power button).
- Added "Default Demo Program" - Light will cycle through all demo effects. Pressing the program button for the first time will trigger this demo mode.
- Added factory reset function - Unwanted programs can now be completely cleared
- Reset the WiFi (press "down" and "+" simultaneously). Unplug the fixture from power for around 10 seconds. Plug it back to power.
- Power outage recovery has been improved. Light will now save program status every 5 minutes (once an hour previously).
- Even dimmer blue moonlight in program
- Misc. bugs fixed

That's a great list of fixes, particularly time keeping, Moonlight brightness and color transitioning all being addressed. I'm also glad to see the light will know default back to its program after 2 mins.
