It was suggested to me to do the ns for penetration sake because the tank is 30" tall

My tank is 25" Tall. I would still go with the 360we. The we's will cover the 6'. You will need more ne to cover the 6'. Just don't keep any sps on the sand and you should be ok.

Have a question on kessil controller:

When you have it on a set program, say port one. Then you go in and set port one on manual, so you can have it on a more color to your liking. Does port one stay on the pre set program schedule ?

thanks :)

Manual allows you to control the programming of the color and intensity. Yes it will stay on the programming schedule. Nice Tank btw!

Where Are u guys having success with your sps corals placement and intensity. Im currently running a 24 inch deep tank amd have my lights mounted about 8 inches from the water line. Curious where u place your sps. In the tank and how much intensity you max out with. Currently im running 2 x 360we in a 90 gal bow 48 wide by 24 deep. Sps not doing well while water and flow are good

Hi.
I have SPS all over my tank. High and low and in very different flow patterns.
I have however added some t5's to my setup.
Growth is good.

LOVE my kessil!! HUGE difference in my frags and corals. I purchased an Orbits LED Current with all the bells and whistles and someone said don't cheap out on the lighting.. I honestly didn't think 130.00 was cheap! LOL I was wrong! I have a Kessil 360w now and its truly amazing! I have one on my 29g but I'm upgrading to a 698g and I will be using that 360W plus a 160

Here's a pic as promised"¦ I think it came out looking pretty clean...As you can see the kessil on the left doesn't work. Will have to call them"¦

Decided to take a new pic. Just got a replacement light from kessil, seeing I received one that didn't work. Great customer support.

I'm also liking the A.I. rack. If you look at the back rail, you will see 2 moon lights that I installed on it. Works great..

I have a question for the kessil guys. I currently have a 60x18x24 112g tank in setting up. I have a ati sunpower dimmable 48 inch with a 48 inch reefbrite in was going to use however now that I'm moving into an apartment I don't know if I want to mount that to the wall would two kessil a160we and two a150 work over this tank? I like to stock lps and softies.. Not really into sps

For softies and LPS I think you could get away with 4 x A150/A160 over a 60" long x 18" wide tank. As long as they're on full power and not too high over the water, since your tank is 24" tall.

So I just bought my Kessile 360N led light with controller. Nothing is in my tank yet until Saturday when my QT processes is done. Can anyone give me info on how I should program my lights. I mean I know how to do it but I don't know what intensity goes on when it comes on and how high it should go as the day continues.

Also what's the main difference between the colors available?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated!

Start off low in the morning. Look at a 8-10 hour cycle a slow ramp up from 0800-1000 followed by a 20-30% increase from 10-12. Ramp to whatever your maximum is (mine was 65% with 2 A360WE's
over a 48X24x18) for at least 4 hours, then ramp her back down. Color is dependent on both the needs of your livestock, and how you want the tank to look. I ran mine at 14000K during the full ramp period, the ramp up/down started at 18K and increased the white consistant with intensity.

Been out of the game for a few years now but looking to get back in. I think I am going with a rimless 60 cube. So 24" all the way around. I was debating on the xr15 pro but then came across some pics of cubes with the kessil lighting. So I was looking at the a160we but then saw that it might be best for me to get the a360we. I want to be able to run a mixed reef so would likely have a few sticks in there but mainly LPS and some softies. Will a single fixture give me the coverage and intensity I need? Money wise the a160we and controller fits the bill but I also don't want to waste my money.

For a 24x24x24 you'll need the A360

I figured but thought I would will ask :). I assume that should give me plenty of coverage and allow me to grow whatever I want.
Thanks for the help!
