Kessil A360's will grow anything. I can grow mushrooms to hard to keep Acropora under my Kessil A360we's. The trick to growing anything is water chemistry.

I curious as well on settings. Heard it doesn't matter because kessil still produces full spectrum no matter what

The 160 and 360 do have both channel dials and are controllable via reeefkeeper or apex with the correct module should you not want the spectral controller.

The 360/160 don't have separate blue white controls. They have color and intensity. 1 dial is color, 1 dial is intensity.

Anyone have experience with A360NEs? Previous tank was 34 or so inches deep, so I purchased the narrow beam kessils. I just recently swapped out to a tank that is 27" deep. Any ideas what intensity I should be running these at? I have them going up to 80% right now. I haven't seen anything bleaching, but it does seem a little high for this depth of tank. Mostly soft corals and LPS in the tank. Just curious if that sounds too intense for this depth? Also running the color up to 65 or so.

Guys, I have a few A160we fixtures that I was wondering if i could use in my sump to grow macro algae. Is the spectrum not correct for a fug, even if i run full white light settings? Thanks in advanced for your help and suggestions.

Remember intensity is already set for spectrum, you can only increase the amount of energy output. Turning the color dial all the way up would probably be my choice.

Going to give it a go, set up the sump with some algae that was growing in another fug, the light that was going it was the jbl 4x1w magnet type and it really throws out par like 600 par just a few inches away. Must be the angle of the lenses. Will set the Kessil to full color and 150 par to start with. Will report back.

What do you mean intensity is already set? You mean the ratio of blue to white?

One of the two knobs is labeled "Intensity." What's the difference between intensity and "energy output"?

The light wavelength on the blue spectrum is already programmed into the intensity knob. It mainly is a control for how much it's outputting. So the color dial is only tuning the visible wavelengths and adding them to the spectrum that's already there.

This is an interesting subject since the fixture seems to change intensity as you change color. Always wondering more on this.

It's because you can see the other spectrums in the white light (esp. green) better than blue.
