name: pepe le peu aka. the cleaner
species: Lysmata wurdemanni aka Peppermint shrimp
victims: aiptasia
remarks:
Pepe, loves Aipstasia of all sizes, as I was at one point breeding them because they look cool when they get to eating... once I started adding a few inverts etc I planned on ridding these pest anemones.
In came Pepe, I got lucky with him as I've heard it's hit or miss with this species, about a 10% chance of them liking Aipstasia. Once he got rid of ALL the pests, he would also eat brine shrimp, so he WILL eat both. As for my corals and clam etc, not a problem to date.
Anyhow, he's done the job in his new home, and he's up for temporary adoption if needed.
Take him to fix your problem, give him back, keep him, pass him on, whatever, let me know.
