My lfs said this is it, the stuff i need, best they got (even over higher priced alternatives that they had in stock and i had in my hand)

My aiptaisia thinks this stuff is the best too, it gives them a vacation for a couple weeks, then they come back, rested and refreshed, after loosing a little weight.

any opinions on this stuff outta anybody else?

nobody else tried it huh...=(, only got a week or so left of my rock quarentine from ich before i take it out...i can wait longer, but i havent passively shamed myself enough to do it, was hopping to take out those 2 little pieces of aiptaisia before i did salvage my rock

If you do not have any yellow polys in Your tank i would say invest in 3 or so Peppermint shrimp.. When you put them in there If you can do not feed your tank much for the first few days. NONE if you can. The aiptasia will be NO More... I know this from experience. But once they eat all the aiptasia you need to be sure they are fed well. They will start looking for the next best thing. Yellow polyps . We had two and hand fed them shrimp For some reason when we upgraded our tank neither of them survived the relocation

I agree with Ericarenee. They will start with coral, my buddies tore his hold zoa garden to pieces. He was thinking it was something else wrong with the zoas, but finally caught the shrimp doing a number on them one night after the lights were out.

Yea mine after the aiptasia was gone (that came from lfs on a rock with a coral on it ). They decided the yellow polyps would suffice. I at first did not figure out what was up with the yellow polyps colony until it was too late. Mine never went after anything else .But i started Hand feeding them krill. Well until i lost them during tank change. Guess they did not like living in my Refugium..

I've had frags show baby aiptaisia after a couple days. I just put a big glob of kalk paste on them. After a couple days the kalk melted into the water and the aiptaisia under it was dead. It's super cheap, and by catching them early Ive been able to keep them out of the tank... so far :)
