Kole and Tomini together, a NO NO?

Would they kill eachother in a 125? I just went through an entire tank re-aquascaping to get out a sohal I bought on a whim. Now I've got 2 Islands with more tightly packed rock and open water in the middle.

I kinda would like to get another tang. But not a large or aggressive one. My fishlist is below. Advice please!

The rule of thumb I have always heard about tang compatibility is that you shouldn't keep two tangs of the same shape. I've heard a few people say they broke that rule, but they also added them as juveniles and at the same time.

Yeah I'll probably go for something else like another wrasse or bartlett's anthias. Something strange like that. :D Thanks!

I have a Kole, yellow and an atlantic blue in a 125 and they get along well. Added them to the tank all at once and there was a bit of tail swiping for the first week but they are pals now..... ;)

I had a purple tang in a 300g...added a sailfin tang 4 months later...for 4 or so days they "sparred"...now they swim as a team.

snookhunter, how long have you had that Atlantic Blue? And how large was it when you got it???

I have kole tang and later added a Tomini that is pretty small. So far so good. Really depends on the fish. Fish that are supposed to be perfect together may not be and ones that aren't recommended to be put together can be fine. If you want two species that you need to exercise caution with, just come up with a plan and go from there.
