I put a new kole tang in my tank. He is medium size maybe 3 inches. He seemed to be doing well for the first few days but today and tonight he seemed to not be doing so well. He's the largest fish in the tank with 2 clowns, cleaner wrasse and 5 chromis. I checked all my levels and its 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate and .25 phosphate, 8.2 PH. The only other thing that I feel may be contributing could be that I just finished my ich-attack treatment in the tank, but all the other fish including invertebrates seem to be doing well and the tang hasn't shown any signs of ich. There is plenty of live rock with plenty of places for him to hide and he's barely been out at all. That is a 75g tank. The the rock work is centered so there is lots of swimming room front and back. So he shouldn't be stressed due space with his current size. Any thoughts or advice?... I know he will outgrow the tank but my 125 is wrapping up a cycle before I plan on transferring healthy fish. Essentially 75 will be my quarantine tank once the 125 finishes.

Ich attack didnt treat your tank. Theres 3 proven methods to remove ich. Check out the disease section and the sticky threads that covers more than you ever wanted to know about ich.

Also, how long has the tang been in the tank? The fish is probably stressed due to being caught, transit to your LFS, transit to your house, and is now in a tiny ocean with glass walls, with another giant alien looking down at him from outside. It can take a long time for fish to adjust to life in a tank. I've had a squaretail bristletooth in quarantine for close to a month now with plenty of places to hide, and he still hides every time I get close or move too fast. I have to sit still when I feed so I can watch and make sure he eats. He is getting less and less skittish as time goes on, but just saying, it takes time to adjust.
Figured out what was wrong. I had neglected to check water salinity. I normally keep it on the high side to begin with and didn't take into account the evaporation. I recently upgraded to a larger sump and had not established top off lines for fresh water. I am going tune in the salinity to be appropriately buffered for high and low sump levels. Thanks for the input.

So I am assuming all your other fish has ich. I would let the tank go fallow for 72 days before reintroducing the fish. If they are in the QT now I would probably do hypo to treat for ich.
No only one fish had it. All the other fish I haven't seen any sign of ich. At this point the one fish has one or two specs on him. So I'm continuing the treatment until I see no signs for two weeks
