Koralia's weren't the problem Grrrr

Got my GBTA yesterday, here been watchin the talk about protecting koralia pumps so the anemones dont get sucked in so i redid my aquascape, put pumps to safe distance away from LR, damn thing began to get sucked up into my intake of one of my DIY AC110 Refugiums'.

I kept close eye on it from when put it in so it didnt get far at all. Ended up shutting down the refugium til he got somewhere where he was tryin to get to.

Who do i bill for babysittin?

The Koralia's may not have been the problem this time, but they sure may be next time. All intakes should be protected.

not to hijack this thread, but have any of you managed to bta-proof a koralia? I've got a baby rbta that I'm nursing along and am worried about letting it go in the main tank.

You can make a "cage" for your korrilla with plastic craft screen. You can get it at wal-mat. Use some zips ties to put it together, kinda like a box to cover it up.

I moved my koralias' away from the LR so far seems to be working, as the anemone seems to just stick to the LR moving not the glass, just as long as it dont go to the right side of the tank lol, being 4ft i should notice it moving before gets there.
