Anyone have experiences with this product? Work or useless? Should I get a copper base product instead? Would like some feedback so I don't waste 6week QT'ing for nothing. Thanks.

I have my purple tang in a 20g QT right now and I added 10ml of Ich attack and will be adding 10ml everyday till all visible sign of ich are gone and continue dosage for additional 4days. Is this the way to use this product?

Temp is kept at 80F and SG @ 1.026. Will be checking ammonia on daily.

I've never used that stuff. From what I've read that's snake oil. I'd rather use the following below:

- copper/cupramine
- hyposalinity
- tank transfer method
- quinine sulphate

In general, all of these ich medications can only kill the ich parasite in its free swimming stage. Once the parasite leaves the fish it will become a cyst and then anywhere from 3-28 days will then produce the free swimming stage that infects. This means you will need to keep the medication at a strong level for 28 days once the fish have no further "white spots".

This becomes expensive with many of these medications and is why most use Copper type medications such as Cupramine. A dosage is cheap and once the level is maintained you are set for the 4 weeks.
