KP's 150 Build

Well my custom stand and canopy is built, got my new LED lights, refugium and my 75 tank drilled that I will be using as my sump. Going to start building the stand for all my equipment that will be located away from my tank so underneath will be clean. Sent my pump I bought from reefgeek to reeflo to get rebuilt, should be back the middle of next week.

To do list:
1. Run the dedicated wires from electrical box to my tank that will be on it's own 15 amp breaker.
2. Run plumbing.
3. Set up sand bed and aquascape using fiberglass rods (anyone want to help here?)
4. Set up RODI and saltwater mixing station.
5. Start making water and filling tank.
6. Set up apex.
7. Design a quarantine tank.
8. Get some crap for fellow reefers to help kickstart the cycle.
9. Tweak my new custom stand and canopy to accommodate equipment.

Theses are not in perfect order.

One of my coworkers father is a cabinet maker. It looks great except he stained it the wrong color. It is solid Oak!

If you're already running electrical, run two circuits to the tank..... That way you can break up stuff incase you ever have any power problems.....

I always put my return pump and circulation pumps on seperate circuits just incase the random chance one of them trips I'll still have some sort of water movement in the tank.

#9 done today. Mounted my led's and cut out 4 holes for fans. Two to bring air in that blow across the top of the water and two towards the top to get heat out. My canopy and stand are fully enclosed because I didn't want any light to spill out.

Dont forget to paint or vinyl the back pane so you wont have to look at cords all the time. :thumbsup:
