Running it with the Top Off shouldn't be a problem. Not all the kalk dissolves at once, the water reaches a saturation point and once saturated the remaining kalk is the white sludge at the bottom. When your topoff runs it should be trickling water into the Kalk mixer at the bottom, and pulling the clear water from the top. As the water trickles through then slowly more kalk dissolves into the water column.
Now the only thing I am not sure of is with your Kalk reactor whether your mixing pump is designed to run 24/7 or just for short periods throughout the day.
Mine uses a pump that mixes the kalk a couple of times a day, and then my Apex shuts the topoff off for an hour after it mixes so that the non-saturated Kalk settles to the bottom and then only the clear water becomes the top off.
