I was thinking about the same thing so I plumbed it differently so that the water from the closed loop pumps go directly through the unit and there is a ball valve to dial in the flow!

That is a picture of the old chiller... I just purchased a new 1hp Tradewinds chiller that has a cover. I will post more pictures of it later. :-)
 
I saw the new chiller you posted.
I was just curious because I have the same old chiller and was wondering if there was an advantage to removing the cover.

kinggeorge your ac condensr coil needs coming and the out put will increase about 35 %
 
Your QT makes my display tank look like a joke. Some day I'll have something as nice as your QT. Love you attention to detail on all the work you have done.

I think RGibson is saying that the fins on coil are bent/folded over and need to be "combed" back to straight.

Beautiful tank!

These guys are MONSTERS the pictures don't do them justice and the build quality that George puts into his Reactors is truly Impressive! I'm very happy with them so far... :beer:
