Cosmetically I'm wrapped up but a reefers work is never done! I need a bigger sump built to handle such volume, right now I'm using my old 100gallon sump.. Also I need a bigger/better UV STERILIZER!

try live brine, black worms, my anthias goes crazy, it also eats dainichi pellets, but definately prefers live.

Thanks for the info about what to feed the Anthias, hopefully it works out... I've never had much luck with Anthias fish. :-(

I'm thinking about getting a UV sterilizer from ASM 40watt x 4. What do you guys think? Anyone with experience with this company of sterilizer?

George look into ozone reactor
Ching Chai have it on his tank and you can really see the difference on water clarity and more effective with ick in my opinion.

I have a ozone feed into my skimmer its not as effective as a full reactor since the reaction time its just too expensive for me right now to buy a reactor . But its 100x cheaper to run 10x better than my 2 55watts uv. I will not run a tank without it, it is as important to me as Apex controller.

Can someone educate me on Ozone reactors and how they help the tank/what is their function? Also I've heard that if you don't do it right it can be dangerous to the fish!

Also my water looks a little hazy at times...I was told this was because of algae living in the water column! That same person told me that a UV sterilizer would clear that up, what do you think? Would and Ozone reactor do the same?
