L/F custom tank builder

Thanks Lawrence.

I've gotten a few quotes now, one for acrylic. And as I suspected, there is not much cost difference between glass and acrylic when you get into the larger tanks.

With Acrylic, the big cost jump is when you go over 96". We're talking a 1K price increase just to add another 12" of lenght to the tank. 96" seems to be the magic number, even in glass.

Just got a 180 gal from CADlight. Give Eddie a call. He was great to work with and his quality is outstanding. Polished edges too:) and I believe I got a more then fair price!!!

Sorry off topic but crusty those are some nice Hawaiian fish u have there. Well reminds me of the snorkeling I've been doing out here on vacation.

After Scotts (pciscott) disaster with AGE I personally would never order from that company no matter if they are under new management. The 100" tank he got from Leemar is incredible.

Thanks Bean.

But unfortunatly for me, it's hard to look at the picture sometiems. I lost most of those fish when I lost power to the tank one night due to a GFCI. They basically sufocated. I'm now trying to rebuild after letting the tank basically just kind of survive for a few years. The Pink Tail Trigger survived and I still have him. He's 10+ years old now.

I'm still debating if I want to get another Naso Tang or not. Same with the MI. He was a blast and I had him for 4 years. two of my most favorite fish. We'll see what happens as I go. Right now, I'm looking at a bigger tank before I get this one too stocked again. Going from 7' to 9' will give more distance swimming. Droping the height from 36" to 30" will make it easier to clean.
