I haven't heard of it - but probably because the aiptasia is normally smaller than the fish. But please remember that aiptasias are anemones - they may not have a strong toxin as other anemones (or maybe they do), but they will eat meat (and mostly likely fish too - especially a tiny little guy) if they can get a hold on it. When I worked part time at an lfs, a customer brought in a picture asking what was swallowing his adult h. erectus (seahorse). It was a huge aiptasia and I had never seen anything like it before. Soooo, that being said, my answer would be "yes".
Thank for the replies. He seems to be doing fine. The female has accepted him for the most part. He just stares at her in the gbta though. He hasn't gone in.
