large blue tip Acropora "frag" f/s

Orlando is correct.

I use that putty all the time. Do you ever notice it in my aquarium?
It gets discolored in about a month. The important thing is to get the frag solidly secured. Once established, corals usually encrust downwards and cover the putty.

Gary you by chance have any close ups of that Acro? Is it one solid color? It looks to have have maybe small specks?

Also is the thickness in the picture, the actual coral or is it an encrusted piece of Tonga branch?

I just got a frag from Gary last weekend. It is a solid color, sort of a brownish with aqua blue tips. And what you are seeing is the actual thickness of the ***, its not encrusted onto anything. Very nice coral, pick up a frag, you wont regret it.

I have not fragged the coral being discussed by Neoz for anybody

I can try and get some macro shots. That coral is a solid iridescent blue with small specks. It's thick. Not encrusted onto anything. Awesome mystery Acropora.

I agree it is awesome looking. Now I'm on the hunt to identify the coral. Would be great if you could get some Macro shots.

Maybe start a new thread with the pictures and I'm sure someone has to know what that Acropora is. If you ever do decide to frag a piece please keep in mind. I'll make that drive for a piece ;)

Still have that frag available Gary? I'm in Penfield I could possibly pick it up this weekend, I would have sen't a PM but I'm too much of an RC noob to send them!
