I'm not surprised an aquarium warranty doesn't cover damage to other items... most warranties for products don't. However, I couldn't even find any information on Marineland's warranty, they just say to call customer support under their warranty information.
I'm curious which aquarium warranties say they will cover damage to other items? I tried looking up several other top manufacturers and can't find any.
-homeowners and renters policy generally cover these types of things, and I consider it a risk of owning any aquarium, there is always a risk any will break no matter who made it. I suppose other countries have different standards for what a product warranty can/must cover...
