Large Passive Reef Safe Fish?

I'm wanting to add a more passive reef safe fish with some size to my 8 foot long 240 gallon. Kind of like a gentle giant. I realize each individual fish has its own personality. If anyone has some ideas.

I second on the foxface, one of my all time favorites. I've never had issues with mine bothering any corals.

The term 'gently giant' almost perfectly describes the Naso Tang. I'd also apply the term to a Quoyi parrotfish.

Theres also the golden back triggers that RVS fishworld seems to be getting in. I know of someone who has them for pretty cheap.

My Maori gets along great with a H. chrysus who was very small when I first put him in the tank. You are right about mobile inverts-they would be lunch.
I'll second Simon on the quoyi parrot fish. If you go that route you should be sure to let the parrot be the dominant fish in the tank. They are good eaters but not fast eaters.

I've had a regal tang and bluethroat triggerfish before, and both got pretty aggressive as they got large. I'm looking for something that would work with dartfish. Also, I had thought that naso tangs were a more aggressive fish.

Regal Angel and Pyramid butterflyfish are 2 that I am considering as well.

The foxface seems like a nice fit. I had 1 years ago that was very timid.

Marine Betta! Reef safe, very passive and calm. Only shrimp will be in danger with them.

Regal angelfish are my favorite and I'd never have a reef without one, but mine is not passive at all. I've had others that were, but the one I've had for the past several years is very hard on newly introduced fish and even bites me when I put my hands in the water. I think I have the meanest regal in the world, haha.

I thought they would eat any fish they could fit in their mouth? If not, this would be the top of my list as I don't keep shrimp.
