Hi there,

I don't know if this has been posted here already. Below are the links to some videos of the tank Wolfgang Colsmann's tank, a 1500 gal cube. Pretty impressive system...considering that the tank is running for less than a year, it will be interesting to see how it will develop over time. It's HD video, files are quite large

That is a very cool tank! There is some great DIY there and every component is huge!

So are the video files, so if you're going to check it out, and you want to! Be patient! Even with a cable modem it was a long download!

Maybe we can convince the owner to start a thread describing his system, he hace come up with some amazing solutions but yet i think everything is just postet in a german reefer forum.

There are also some pics there with him cleaning the glass from the inside wearing scuba gear

What lighting is he using and the color temp of the bulbs.

4x400W 20000 K, 1 x 2000 W daylight

Running 20000k is unheard of in Germany, but I guess when you have 1x2000watt day light you need some blue.
That is almost a 1:1 ratio of blue to white.
