Large tank lighting

Have a 96x30x30 ... Currently have 8 x radion g1 , time to upgrade .... One disadvantage of the radion is the depth at 30 inch can't grow much on the sand considering i only keep sps... because of two large Angels ( clarion and emporer)

Research has me considering the 360ne at 18x18 coverage , par seems good at 30" to grow some sps , However this puts me at 10-12units,,,? And my concern is the colonies higher up, with the stronger light?

The g1 I have had for a while, first 4, then 6 and now 8... So I did not feel the pinch on the cash at the time... But I cannot bring myself to pay + 7k for new lights... No use in going with less units or I get shading on lower branches and lower colonies need full tank coverage at full 30" width., disadvantage of led's I suppose.

Also been researching reefbreeders, wow cheap,.... And good reviews,.(6x48inch units two in the centre , and 4 on the rims tilting inwards?) .. What about custom any custom led builders on the forum using 5w led's .. Would be nice to have one 96 inch unit ... With multiple dimmable arrays, for different sections to compensate on hight and front and back?..

Appresiate some guidance on the Kessil's , and/or some suggestions from others running out of sps space,... And how to tackle this issue.

Check out PentairAES.com they have lights that are the equivalent to MH and the bulbs have 100,000 hr life on them so that's double what LEDs are rated for

Why not 2 ATI 48" fixtures and supplement with LED strips? That's what I'm doing on my build. You can accomplish this for 1/4 of the cost you're talking about.

Regardless of what you do, I would make sure to over light than under light. I believe specs for LEDs are typically overrated. So you will need many more than they suggest where this isn't true for T5s.
